At Talkeetna Travel, we want you to experience Alaska the same way we do.  By sending our clients to small privately owned lodging establishments and tour companies, we offer you a chance to have a more "up-close and personal" experience.  We know about small local businesses, because we are one!

Planning your Alaska trip can be daunting.  Talkeetna Travel will competently arrange your lodging and accommodations while you travel, charging you the same rates you'd pay if you did all the work yourself, with no added fees.  We'll set up exciting activities to bring your visit alive.  While in Talkeetna, you can take a McKinley Scenic Flight Tour, go rafting, fishing, or ride a jet boat on the rivers, go hiking in nearby Denali State Park, or take a guided nature hike around two lakes near "beautiful downtown Talkeetna."  For the more adventurous, you can even arrange a full-fledged mountaineering trip in the Alaska Range.  And if you're trying to figure out your Talkeetna transportation options, we'll reserve your shuttle bus, Alaska Railroad seats, or rental car.

How Talkeetna Travel's website works:

The Talkeetna Travel website has a convenient reservation request system.  Click on an "I'm Interested" button to let us know you would like to arrange Talkeetna lodging, flightseeing, fishing, etc.  You do not need your credit card until Talkeetna Travel agents confirm your reservation.  Once you make a reservation request, you can continue exploring the site, and when you click to make another reservation request, our system will remember the information you entered already.  For example, if you submit a request for Talkeetna Lodging, you can come back later in the same session and add a Talkeetna Fishing Trip without having to re-enter your contact information.  For the less computer-savvy, you are welcome to just call Talkeetna Travel at (907) 733-8728.
